Database and Middleware Automation 10.x – Automating Beyond Infrastructure and OS (DMA350)

Course Description Agenda Course Outline

Course Overview

This five-day course starts with introducing the concepts and usage of the Database and Middleware Automation (DMA) software, continues with detailed use cases of DMA, and finally students learn to modify out-of-the-box (OOTB) flows. DMA is part of Cloud Automation solutions. Working with DMA 10.50 includes using the DMA UI and the DMA runtime engine to locate, run, monitor, author, and deploy automated workflows. A flow is a set of actions linked by decision-making logic to automate tasks. Other topics in the course include using Solution Packs for Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and JBoss. This course also covers creating custom workflows, using the Database and Middleware discovery process, doing compliance checks as well as using the Representational State Transfer (REST) API. The course consists of focused, task-oriented lectures, text, and a series of detailed hands-on labs to teach the course material to the student. The hands-on labs use version 10.50 of the software.
