Fast Lane Opens Presence in St. Petersburg

IT Training Specialist Continues Global Expansion

Fast Lane expands its global IT training network with a presence in St. Petersburg/Russia. This strategic measure focuses on the Russian and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States)-target markets. Due to the growing demand for hands-on trainings and consulting for the network, security, and storage area, the worldwide operating provider decided to take this decisive step. This ensures an optimal on-site customer support and establishes an ubiquitous offer of respective trainings.

The branch office is headed by an experienced specialist from the IT training area. The new Managing Director Oleg Feldmann looks back on ten years of business experience in the Cisco training area with leading Cisco Learning Solutions partners. During this time, he has acted in responsible positions as sales manager, partner, and key account manager. He has also been responsible for establishing new strategic partnerships. For more than four years he, in addition, managed several 2nd tier training partners (Cisco Learning Solutions Partners and Sponsored Organizations) in the EMEA area.

„We are pleased to have gained such an experienced employee for the further expansion of our business activities in the strategically important Russia/CIS area who knows the market and the real demand of our customers in trainings and consulting in the high-end training area“, says Torsten Poels, Senior Vice President & General Manager Europe, Americas & Japan for Fast Lane. „We are aiming for a clear worldwide growth with the objective to make our comprehensive training offering seamlessly available over all continents and support companies competently in the IT education of their employees. What, amongst others, makes us successful is that we offer high-quality training concepts that are up-to-date, hands-on, and adjusted to the individual requirements.“

In the first step, the training provider focuses on marketing Cisco Routing & Switching, Network Design and Service Provider trainings as well as trainings in the areas of Cisco Unified Communications, Security, Wireless and Data Center. Another focus is on the complete training program of Network Appliance (NetApp). In the foreground of all trainings is a hands-on learning with many exercises.
