Provider of IT training receives an award for its commitment and use of High-end Cisco technologies

Fast Lane receives the Cisco Relevance Award Europe 2011

At this year’s Cisco Learning Partner Summit, held in London from 15th to 16th June 2011, the Cisco Learning Solutions Partner, Fast Lane (www.flane.de), was awarded the European Cisco Award of Excellence in Relevance 2011. The provider of training services impressed the jury with its ongoing investment in high-end labs as well as its active input regarding the development of content in official Cisco training courses. Fast Lane also received praise for the creativity with which it designed the transition from content development to implementation, thereby supporting sales of Cisco solutions and architectures.

The internationally active training specialist distinguished itself with its considerable investments, amounting to many millions of euros, in the establishment and expansion of high-end labs. Fast Lane is, for example, the first European provider of Tandberg labs and also provides a total of five Cisco Nexus and UCS (Unified Computing System) labs. The training service provider’s decision to implement its lab environment, which is distributed over a number of locations, as a “Green Data Centre” solution, was also perceived as being positive.

It was also highlighted at the awards ceremony that, in particular with regard to Cisco Advanced and Emerging Technologies, Fast Lane is able to immediately offer related training courses in conjunction with the launch of new products or issuing of solution updates. The company has also established itself as an important partner in terms of content development. The jury’s evaluation also took the company’s continuing growth and global expansion activities into consideration.

“We are honoured to receive the Cisco Relevance Award 2011. This award confirms the value of our strategy of cooperating in a targeted fashion with our partner Cisco in order to be able to offer our customers effective training courses in an optimal environment,” comments Torsten Poels, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Fast Lane. “I would like to thank the entire Fast Lane staff for contributing to this success, which is not the result of an individual performance but is based on the work of a well-coordinated team.”
