IT training specialist expands its consulting and professional services

Fast Lane Germany acquires Schwerin Consult

Hamburg/Berlin, 3rd March 2011 - On the 1st of February, IT training and consulting company Fast Lane (www.flane.de) concluded a merger agreement with the company Schwerin Consult, thereby gaining control over 100% of the company’s shares. The consulting business based in Schwerin, Germany was founded in 1992 as the Gesellschaft für Organisations- und Strukturentwicklung mbH. The company is specialised in public sector management consulting, with special emphasis on government, healthcare, connected communities, physical security, SAP and smart grids. Fast Lane will be integrating the complete service portfolio into a new business unit called “Public Professional Services”.

Schwerin Consult has more than 100 customers at the national and federal state levels in Germany. These include the Federal Ministries for Economics and Technology and Transport, Building and Urban Development, various federal agencies, government ministries in the federal states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North-Rhine Westphalia and Hamburg as well as municipal authorities and trade unions.
