Worldwide cooperation covering IBM Training portfolio finalised

Fast Lane becomes Arrow’s first Global Training Alliance member

Hamburg/Berlin, Raleigh/Durham NC, Singapore, Sydney, 28th January 2014 – IT training specialist Fast Lane and its subsidiary ITLS have entered into a cooperation with the worldwide IBM Global Training Provider Arrow Electronics Inc. starting with immediate effect. As an Arrow Global Training Alliance member, Fast Lane will offer official IBM Systems and Software training courses via its international network, with the portfolio initially being available in 50 countries.

In July 2013, Arrow was selected as one of four IBM Global Training Providers for IBM’s Software Group and Systems and Technology Group. In the next six months, as part of the strategic agreement between Arrow and Fast Lane, the IBM Global Training Program is to be implemented in 130 countries through Arrow’s Global Training Alliance. The training portfolio, which both organisations are selling and delivering together, comprises more than 800 training courses for IBM Solutions in the fields of IT infrastructure and software. In particular, the training opportunities include:

  • IBM Systems training (i.e., IBM Power Systems, IBM PureSystems, IBM System Storage and Storage Networking);
  • IBM System x and BladeCenter;
  • IBM System z;
  • Cloud Computing; and
  • IBM Software trainings (i.e., Business Analytics, Information Management, Collaboration, Product Lifecycle Management, Rational, Tivoli and WebSphere).
