Course Overview
This training course covers monitoring and managing a computer network with HPE Intelligent Management Center software platform (IMC) version 7.3. This course teaches Access Control Lists management, Network Traffic Analyzer, Compliance and Intelligent Policy Center, report management, and VXLAN management. The hands-on lab exercises are provided on HPE Comware devices.

Who should attend
This course is for network administrators and engineers who plan to manage their network using the HPE Intelligent Management Center software platform.
Prerequisites
Prior to this course, students should have basic networking and HPE Intelligent Management Center experience.
Course Objectives
By the end of this class, you should be able to:
- Implement and deploy Access Control Lists (ACLs) using HPE IMC ACL management
- Configure and use the HPE IMC Network Traffic Analyzer module
- Configure and deploy Compliance Policy Center configuration
- Create and schedule reports
- Configure and deploy static VXLAN tunnels using HPE IMC VXLAN management

Module 1: ACL Management
- Describe the HPE IMC ACL management functionality
- Configure ACL using HPE IMC ACL management
- Deploy and test ACL usage
- Lab 0: ACL Management (Optional)
- Task1: Prepare devices and discover in HPE IMC
- Lab 1: ACL Management
- Task1: Manually create an ACL for a device
- Task2: Verify ACL operations
- Task3: Setup syslog and verify ACL logging.
Module 2: Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA)
- Describe sFlow protocol
- Describe Network Traffic Analyzer module functionalities
- Configure NTA analysis tasks
- Lab 2: Network Traffic Analyzer
- Task1: Deploying the NTA component
- Task2: Add HPE Comware to NTA
- Task3: Create a “Traffic Analysis Task”
- Task4: Perform host session monitoring
- Task5: Perform interface monitoring
Module 3: Compliance Center and Intelligent Policy Center.
