The course provides introductory technical knowledge of the PowerStore platform, its features, functions, and implementation process. It covers PowerStore concepts, networking, deployment options, and licensing, as well as the initial configuration wizard and switch configuration.

  • Quiz pré-formation de vérification des connaissances (si applicable)
  • Réalisation de la formation par un formateur agréé par l’éditeur
  • Formation réalisable en présentiel ou en distanciel
  • Mise à disposition de labs distants/plateforme de lab pour chacun des participants (si applicable à la formation)
  • Distribution de supports de cours officiels en langue anglaise pour chacun des participants
    • Il est nécessaire d'avoir une connaissance de l'anglais technique écrit pour la compréhension des supports de cours
Moyens d'évaluation :
  • Quiz pré-formation de vérification des connaissances (si applicable)
  • Évaluations formatives pendant la formation, à travers les travaux pratiques réalisés sur les labs à l’issue de chaque module, QCM, mises en situation…
  • Complétion par chaque participant d’un questionnaire et/ou questionnaire de positionnement en amont et à l’issue de la formation pour validation de l’acquisition des compétences

Pré-requis

To successfully complete this course, participants must have a suitable knowledge base and skill set, including:

  • Hardware concepts and technologies used in customer environments, such as compute nodes, servers, network, and basic storage system infrastructures
  • Software technologies used in customer environments, such as end-user applications, databases, operating systems
  • Ethernet and TCP/IP networking, such as switch management, IP addressing, and routing
  • Basic Microsoft Windows user, file, and domain administration • Basic Unix/Linux user and file management
  • Fibre Channel Storage Area Networks, such as zoning, WWNs, LUNs, masking
  • Basic backup and recovery terms and techniques

Objectifs

Upon successful completion of this course, participants are able to:

  • Design and implement PowerStore solutions
  • Configure and manage PowerStore systems, including networking and licensing
  • Deploy and support PowerStore installations
  • Apply best practices for PowerStore Implementation and Management.
