Course Overview
This course covers the essentials of Power BI, from data connectivity and transformation using Power Query Editor and DAX, to designing and modeling data for effective reporting. Participants will learn to create interactive reports and dashboards, utilizing advanced features such as AI tools and Natural Language Queries. Additionally, the course includes deployment and management of reports, including security settings like Row-Level Security and automated data refresh.

Course Objectives
At the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Understand the architecture of Power BI and its key components, including data connectivity and connectors.
- Clean, transform, and load data using Power BI's Power Query Editor and M formula language.
- Design and build effective data models, including relationships, hierarchies, and time dimensions, with an understanding of 3NF vs. Star Schema.
- Extend data models with DAX to calculate KPIs, create measures, and perform complex calculations.
- Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI’s standard visuals, filters, slicers, and advanced features like bookmarks and cross-report navigation.
- Leverage AI features in Power BI, including Natural Language Queries, anomaly detection, and key influencer identification.
- Deploy, manage, and secure reports in Power BI, including setting up automated data refresh and configuring Row-Level Security (RLS).
